Rachel ~ My Sister and Birth Helper

She was there for my first birth. She was only 7. So cute…So young and eager to be of help….Now at 14 she’ll be here for this one also. Number 4. She’s becoming a pro at this! I’ll miss her tons when she goes back to Texas. But for now I am soaking up the joy she adds with being around. She has been an incredible helper as I’ve stumbled through this last couple of weeks before the due date. She plans to bake a birthday cake for little Ryker as I labor. That’s what I did while she was being born…(I was 17 1/2)…and it was the day after Valentine’s Day. I whipped up a yummy cake to the tune of mom’s Home Birthing labor. I was called into the room just in time to see Rachel crown and make an entrance. It was life changing.

I Love you Rachel !!!!!

My Online Baby Shower

My good friend Bethany tried to get me set up with an online baby shower. They have those now. Really cool. You plug into the online baby shower site and you get registered with stores, and meet online on a certain day and time and chat, play games etc. It’s a real Baby Shower…but all in Cyber Space. Cool Huh!? Well I needed to get her my Email addresses of friends., etc….and I never pulled together my end of the deal. So Ummmm..being a sweet and understanding friend…she dropped it without throwing her shoe at me. hahahah

However….On my message board (which too few of you bloggers are enjoying with me… hee hee) they are still managing to throw me a message board shower. So cool. I have the best online, message boarding, blogging, Cyber spacing friends in the world. I thought it would be fun to share that shower here so I could include you all in it. It may not be the fancy Online Baby Shower that my dear Bethany would have like to give me…but it’s close. Kind of.

One day while I was out of the house about a week or so ago…Amy dropped by and brought me her very own rocking chair.
What a HUGE blessing. I have been several babies now without a rocker and it’s driven me crazy! Thank you Amy for being so giving…and blessing me with your rocker.

This will be my place to perch in the middle of night for the next few months!!!! LOL

So Between Craig’s List and The Clearance at babies R Us…It’s been fun putting together this set. Between money family has sent and things mom and Rachel have done…the “little” things that are unnecessary but fun…are coming together and making it so cute.

And Compliments of my Grandmother – - A Baby Carrier that I hope might be useful…..matching OF course….

So, I know I didn’t need any of this stuff…but it sure has been fun seeing the pieces come together afterall when I thought they totally wouldn’t….and I’m used to not really having any matching baby stuff…afterall that kind of thing is mostly for first time parents…and this is old hat for me…..
BUT !!!!!!!! This is the FIRST time out of 6 pregnancies and 4 births…that I’ve EVER had a nursery corner and built a matching baby theme like this.

It’s been wildly entertaining. Silly…and Frivolous…but Fun Fun Fun.

Would you like to be a part of history?
I have a really good friend who is inspired to create a curriculum for homeschooling moms to teach the subject of Health. There really is not a lot to choose from on the Homeschooling Market. She is already underway with building this study but wanted to allow moms to speak up and talk about what they would like to see from such a study . She will incorporate people’s ideas as she builds and creates it.

Hello! Almost Birthing Day!

Well, It’s almost Father’s Day…that’s My Due Date. June 15th.
I’m so tired and bulky!!!!
I think I’m irritable because I’m so close to the birth.
I know it’s a pretty trivial prayer request …
but if you could pray for my attitude. I have 3 energetic little
boys who need love and good attitude from mama whether or not
I feel like it.

I’m just SO cranky … it’s ridiculous.
Mama needs a MAJOR attitude fix!

So I’d appreciate any prayers…..

I had a bit of a budget, but it ran out fast…but I found THIS decor on clearance at Babies R Us..Isn’t it cute?

The baby is now considered “full term” So Any day now would be GREAT with me. Although I really have about 3 ish weeks to wait since I usually go PAST my date…not before. The midwife brought over my birthing kit, other supplies, and I have the birthing pool ready for use! YAY! This weekend my projects were:

Washed , folded, found a place for baby things.

The one we’d had since Nathanael was an infant finally bit the dust ..it was time for a new one.
We’ll be eating rice and beans next week…but we’ll have a cute car seat!!! LOL
Cleaned the bathrooms.
Packed my birthing and post birthing clothing.
Studied my Hypnobabies Course.
Worshiped at the piano…Haven’t in a while…Was so nice…
Watched water birthing videos.
Took my boys to the park to play.
